With the relative success of my new Game of the Week feature, I’ll be introducing something new here on I Like Football Me, it’s called Twenty To Watch and there’s a great opportunity for you to get involved.
The idea is straightforward, and I’ve been asked to do this plenty times. Between now and the end of the Brasileirão season, I’ll be posting up 20 player profiles of 20 different players, one from each of the 20 different teams in the 2011 Brasileirão.
One of the most rewarding parts of following Brazilian football is being able to get a first-hand look at the huge wealth of talent that is developed in the country, so I am planning to use this feature as an opportunity to give an insight to some of the league’s most interesting players.
Additionally, for the first time I Like Football Me is opening its doors to guest contributors for this particular venture. If you fancy having a go at writing one of these 20 articles, drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact me through Twitter @euanmarshall, and I’ll give you the details.
I have already compiled a list of twenty players, but if you would like to suggest one of your own then that is no problem! I have a couple of rules though:
- The player must be UNDER 25.
- The player must have made a significant impact at his Brasileirão club THIS SEASON.
- The player isn’t Neymar/Lucas/Leandro Damião!
If you are interested, I would absolutely love to hear from you. Don’t worry if you don’t think your writing is ‘up to standard’, I’m not picky and anything you submit will be ideal.
